Codeli Inc was spun out of Ne2 Canada’s brokerage in 2017 to offer IT trading solutions to a variety of commodity and financial markets. A team of innovators, we are committed to providing dependable solutions throughout the energy and financial transaction life-cycle. Our IT Group, founded in 2005, is constantly evolving the business model for brokering energy products, developing exchange trading technology and trustworthy price reporting.

Tim Gunn
President
With over 30 years of experience as a trader and a broker in the commodity and financial sectors, Tim was the first crude oil broker in Canada. Tim’s trading background began as a foreign exchange and money market trader in Japan and later as a bond trader in Toronto. His experience in trading and passion for technology helped him conceive and launch Codeli Inc. Through his vision and perseverance, Codeli has proven to be one of the most innovative and successful web-based brokerage systems in North America. Expansion into the Asian marketplace has been a goal for many years, and Tim is very pleased to be leading the way with technology and market expertise by launching Codeli’s Zembu Match trading platform.
Chris Haines
Vice President, Technology
With over 25 years of experience leading technology teams across all verticals of the energy industry, Chris brings extensive expertise in both energy and commodity market fundamentals, and the development technology that supports the full energy transaction lifecycle. Chris’ technology background began at the Natural Gas Exchange in Calgary, Canada building exchange and trading system technology, and subsequently at Direct Energy working on energy trading, retail forecasting, and risk management systems for electricity and natural gas, and at Ferus working on systems in support of industrial gas production, transportation, and oilfield logistics. Chris has spent the past four years working with the team at Codeli on their state-of-the-art trading system technology.
Corrine Fiesel
General Counsel
Corrine Fiesel is General Counsel to Codeli. She has practised for over 18 years primarily in the areas of corporate and securities law for a wide array of energy and technology companies in Alberta, British Columbia and internationally. She has worked for derivatives exchanges and clearing houses and has extensive experience in dealing with the securities regulators in Canada and the U.S.. Corrine is a graduate of the University of Calgary Law School and has a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall in Toronto specializing in securities law.
Edward Man
Senior Developer
Edward has over 25 years of experience developing various system software for different exchanges, including Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WCE), Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE), London Futures Options Exchange (FOX), New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), AgraLink/Alberta Watt Exchange, Natural Gas Exchange (NGX) and Net Energy Exchange. Ed graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
Joan Li
Senior Developer
Joan has over 25 years of experience as a software developer. She has developed various trading, clearing and auction systems for futures and commodity exchanges, including Sydney Futures Exchange, New York Mercantile Exchange, AgraLink/Alberta Watt Exchange, Natural Gas Exchange, and Net Energy Exchange. Joan graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
